The Mission - To Go
Our goal at Go Lawn Care & Services LLC, is to glorify and honor God in all we do! We desire to be a positive influence in the lives of our clients, and a mark of excellence within our community. We understand the best way to accomplish that goal, is to obey Jesus' command to "go."
As recorded in scripture, Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." [Mathew 28:19-20 NIV 1984]
Our intent is to obey that command and conduct ourselves accordingly in light of all of scripture within every aspect of business we conduct. From our structure, employees, client relations, to our pricing and everything in-between, we desire to honor God.
What better way to honor God then to share His good news!
We must understand that we are not perfect and have disobeyed (sinned against) God (Romans 6:23). This sin, has earned us something; that something is death and Hell (Romans 3:23). Worse yet, we have no way of undoing sin or somehow making it right (Ephesians 2:8-9). This is where the good news comes in. Through God's grace, we can receive forgiveness for the sins we have committed. This forgiveness comes through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Faith is simply trust, or a belief that causes action. This faith needs to be focused on God and what he has done to forgive us. The most important aspect of what God has done to forgive us is that he provided a way for us to be saved! That way of salvation is through his son Jesus (John 3:16), and is the only way to be saved (John 14:6). But Jesus wasn't an ordinary man, but God in human form (John 1). We know this because after he gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins, he didn't remain dead but resurrected (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)! Again, faith is a belief that causes an action. In this case, that action is repentance (Luke 13:3). Repentance is to turn away from our sin and our efforts to be saved, and instead turning towards God while accepting what he has done to save us. The greatest promise of all is found in Romans 10:9, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." [NIV 1984]
